WHat Makes A mindful mama?
Mindfulness is defined as the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. When it comes to being a mama, we interpret this to mean to slow down, be intentional, and stay connected through the seasons, moods, highs and lows of motherhood.
WHat can i expect to find on this site?
This site was created as a virtual village for mamas looking to lead an intentional life as women and mothers. You’ll find advice, tips, strategies and ideas for mindful parenting, natural living and beauty, style, healthy-ish eating, and traveling. The underlying philosophy is to approach all of these areas with aforethought but the mentality is always progress not perfection.
What is the philosophy behind the site?
We subscribe to the 80/20 rule. Eighty-percent of the time we strive to be as mindful, healthy, clean, green, and conscious as possible. Twenty-percent of the time we let the reigns loose, enjoy whatever treats are in front of us, relax our label checking and indulge in things we may not in our day-to-day life.
CAN I Contribute to the site?
Absolutely! The philosophy behind the site is to cultivate a virtual village of resources through firsthand and expert experience. If you want to share, please e-mail our founder at Natalie@themindfulmamacollective.com.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU POST?
As mamas ourselves, this site is incredibly important to us but of course our families come first. We aim to publish 2-3 new articles a week and are always looking for likeminded contributors, too! If there’s a topic you are particularly interested in hearing about, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Do you accept sponsored products?
We work with brands we already love and use regularly when we feel it’s appropriate to help fund the site. If a post is sponsored it will always be clearly stated.
Do you USE AFFILIATE LINKS?
Some, but not all links, are affiliate links meaning we make a commission of you choose to buy the product. This is just one of a few ways we are able to fund this site and keep creating content.
