How the 4-week programme works
This programme is designed for parents of young children (approximately ages 2–7), where structure and understanding make the biggest difference
Free 30-minute “Get to Know You” Session
A gentle parent conversation to understand:
-
your child’s current struggles
-
emotional patterns
-
behaviour triggers
-
where development may be getting stuck
-
how you currently respondand
-
what support feels realistic for your family
A Personalised Developmental Approach
Every child and family is different.
Although the programme follows a structured 4-week framework, emotional development does not always happen in a perfectly straight line.
Some children may need more time, support, or repetition in certain areas before moving forward comfortably.
Because of this, parts of the programme may be adapted, revisited, or introduced in a different order depending on your child’s individual emotional, developmental, and family needs.
The aim is not to rush progress, but to provide support in a way that feels realistic, supportive, and developmentally appropriate for both the child and parent.
Week 1
Understanding ADHD from the inside out
In Week 1, you will be introduced to some of the resources and tools we will use throughout the programme to support both you and your child’s ongoing emotional and developmental growth.
Together, we will begin identifying where your child may need more support emotionally, developmentally, and practically within everyday life.
We will also look at how these tools and strategies can work realistically within your family, without adding unnecessary pressure or overwhelm to your own mental load as a parent.
Alongside this, you will receive a parent guide that we will gradually work through together across the 4 weeks, helping you build a deeper understanding of ADHD, emotional development, and how to support your child in a calmer, more connected, and sustainable way.
Week 2
Reflection, Adjustment, and Emotional Patterns
In Week 2, we reflect together on how the first week has gone in real everyday life.
We will look at:
-
which tools or approaches felt manageable
-
where difficulties or overwhelm may have appeared
-
how your child responded emotionally
-
and what patterns may already be becoming more noticeable underneath behaviour.
-
This week is not about getting everything “right.”
It is about gradually building understanding, noticing emotional responses more clearly, and adjusting support in a way that feels realistic for both you and your child.
You will also be introduced to the next stage of resources and support tools, helping you continue building emotional awareness, consistency, and developmental understanding at a pace that feels manageable within family life.
Week 3
Recognising Progress and Adjusting Support
In week 3 is a chance to pause and reflect on what may already be beginning to shift within your child and family life.
Together we will look at:
-
what has felt positive so far
-
where challenges are still appearing
-
what support strategies feel realistic to continue
-
and where adjustments may still need to be made.
-
As emotional awareness and understanding are gradually introduced, we will also begin looking at how your child may be responding emotionally.
Sometimes progress is not immediately obvious when you are living it every day.
Parents are often so focused on managing difficult moments that they miss the smaller developmental changes happening underneath, such as:
-
recognising feelings slightly earlier
-
talking more openly
-
recovering more calmly
-
or beginning to connect emotions with experiences.
This week helps parents step back and notice the emotional and developmental progress that may already be quietly building over time.
Week 4
Moving Forward with Understanding and Confidence
Week 4 brings everything together, helping you reflect on how far both you and your child have come over the previous weeks.
Together we will look at:
-
what changes have been most noticeable
-
which tools and approaches have worked best for your family
-
where emotional understanding may already be developing
-
and how to continue supporting your child in a realistic and sustainable way moving forward.
By this stage, many parents begin to feel:
-
less confused by behaviour
-
more confident in their responses
-
calmer during emotional moments
-
and more connected to what may be happening underneath the surface for their child.
This programme is not about creating a “perfect child” or expecting instant change.
It is about building stronger emotional foundations, greater understanding, and supportive strategies that can continue developing long after the 4 weeks have ended.
Because emotional awareness, self-understanding, and development take time, patience, repetition, and support.
And often, the smallest changes become the foundations for much bigger growth over time.
Final Reflection & Next Steps Session
At the end of the 4-week programme, we will also have a final 30-minute reflection session together.
This session gives us time to:
-
look back at your child’s progress
-
revisit the concerns discussed at the beginning
-
reflect on emotional patterns and changes
-
identify which tools and strategies have felt most supportive
-
and explore any areas where further support may still be needed.
Sometimes parents are so focused on managing everyday life that they do not fully recognise the smaller emotional and developmental changes already taking place.
This final session helps bring those changes into focus while giving you the opportunity to ask further questions and feel more confident moving forward with continued support at home.

This programme focuses on supporting your child at the stage they’re ready to learn. Because when instruction doesn’t land…we need to teach in a way that does. Through play, stories, and real-life experiences, your child begins to understand themselves, not just follow instructions.
If you’re a parent with ADHD yourself, the support is designed to feel manageable and clear, not overwhelming or unrealistic.
